The OEFC West ’99 girls are a team that shows character, hard work, and loyalty. Three years ago they were a team left with only eleven players. Those players stayed with the club and won their league that year losing only four total games in all competition (league play, showcases and tournaments). The following year they started the season with nineteen players. They were promoted into the OPL and continued playing showcases and tournaments where they lost four total games in league play while doing very well in all showcases. They ended that year finishing as a finalist in President’s cup. This year they formed with twenty girls and were promoted and played in the SRPL and OPL. They have been preparing for the Players College Showcase in Las Vegas during March. Right now they have 8 wins, 8 loses and 3 ties during all competitions. During the three years of this teams fighting together and rebuilding, they have put up the record of 39 wins, 18 loses and 7 ties. They started 2017-18 year with seven seniors and six of those wanted to continue playing at the college level. All six have signed and achieved their goal to continue playing next year. Four of the juniors have already committed to play in college while the rest of the girls have had many offers and are deciding which school is the best fit for them.
