FINANCIAL AID PROGRAM
The Oklahoma Energy Football Club Financial Aid Program was developed to provide players and their families the opportunity to receive financial aid from the club during times of financial difficulty. The program provides financial aid to help offset part of the expenses associated with playing soccer.
Financial aid may be awarded to help offset the club dues. The Financial Aid Program does not offer funds to cover registration fees ($275), uniforms, tournament fees, or other soccer-related expenses.
Registration fees will need to be paid at the completion of tryouts.
Oklahoma Energy FC has limited funds available for financial aid. Applicants must first meet the financial qualifications before being considered for full or partial assistance.
Financial Aid will be awarded based on availability of funds, and on a first come first serve basis.
There is no guarantee that qualified applicants will receive financial aid.
HOW TO APPLY
To Apply:
1. Complete the Oklahoma Energy FC Financial Aid Application Form.
2. If you received financial aid in the 2023-2024 soccer year, you MUST include the completed volunteer hours document, including your name, location of volunteer hours, dates and hours of time worked, and signature of the volunteer coordinator – verifying you worked a minimum of 4 shifts during the 2023-2024 soccer year.
3. Submit this application form, upload the signed volunteer hours documents, and a copy of the front page of your 2023 federal income tax return in the fields provided. The tax return must be uploaded to the application to be considered. (Front page will list the names of dependents at the top and have your Adjusted Gross Income at the bottom.) Please mark out all social security numbers. This tax return copy will be erased once verification of income has been established.
To complete the application, you will need the following documents to upload during the process.
– 2023 Federal Income Tax Return
– 2023-24 OEFC Financial Aid Volunteer Form (Shift 1-4)
– Any additional documentation you deem relevant
Completed applications must be submit by Sunday, June 16, 2024. Late applications will only be reviewed if financial aid packages are still available.
